Yes, it can be costly at start, but you do it only once and at the beginning, you should do everything properly, so you avoid problems in the future.

I was working as a lawyer for more than 20 years in my home country, 10 of them I was an attorney.
I can only tell you one advice, regarding using a lawyer:
Using lawyer’s services and paying for his advice is very similar to insurance. You pay for something to cover your future risks, that may or may not arise in the future.
Actually, the distinction between how the attorney and the insurance works, is that by using lawyer, you not only cover risks, you are already removing them for good at the very beginning.
I gave this advice to many clients over the years. If they didn’t want to listen, I had rephrased my advice:
“If you come to me to make a contract for you or to give you an advice before doing a business decision, I can solve 80 per cent of all your future problems related to it and you are even not aware of most of them. And it will cost you, let’s say 200 bucks.
If you do your business without consulting with me beforehand oraz there will be a problem, you have 20 per cent chance to solve the problem, probably you will lose the case. And it will cost you, let’s say 2.000 bucks.”
